Narration To Books Physik (Septimus Heap #3)
The third book in the internationally bestselling Septimus Heap series by Angie Sage, featuring the funny and fantastic adventures of a wizard apprentice and his quest to become an ExtraOrdinary Wizard.New York Times Bestselling Series
"Few fans of the best-selling Septimus Heap series will be disappointed." --ALA Booklist
"Readers will be indubitably hooked--worrying, laughing, and gasping over the nonstop adventures of this engaging troupe." --VOYA (Starred Review)
When Silas Heap unSeals a forgotten room in the Palace, he releases the ghost of a Queen who lived five hundred years earlier. Queen Etheldredda is as awful in death as she was in life, and she's still up to no good. Her diabolical plan to give herself everlasting life requires Jenna's compliance, Septimus's disappearance, and the talents of her son, Marcellus Pye, a famous Alchemist and Physician. And if Queen Etheldredda's plot involves Jenna and Septimus, then it will surely involve Nicko, Alther Mella, Marcia Overstrand, Beetle, Stanley, Sarah, Silas, Spit Fyre, Aunt Zelda, and all of the other wacky, wonderful characters that made Magyk and Flyte so memorable.
With heart-stopping action and a dash of humor, Angie Sage continues the fantastical journey of Septimus Heap.

Set only about 3 months after Flyte, Simon is pretty much no longer a concern and a new character, Snorri Snorrenson is introduced. It takes a while for things to get going in this story and I still struggled with the author's tendency to go off topic to explain stuff and introduce characters that don't really do much for the story. I can think of at least 5 characters that are explained and used in this story that weren't really necessary. That sort of stuff makes this feel longer and more3 1/2 starsAnother enjoyable installment in the Septimus Heap series. In this tale, we find ourselves wrapped up in plots involving time travel, magical mirrors, a young dragon, a Sickness (which the Rats get unjustly blamed for and hunted... :-/ not sure how I really felt about that) and a Ghost who appears to be more "solid" than she should.I do like the characters in these books, and I like the ideas Sage has. I'm not sure how I feel about the increasingly multi-person perspectives, but if you
Everything about Physik is crazy, but so interesting. This instalment of the Septimus Heap series doesn't just expand upon the lore of the world, but throws in so many new elements that are completely unexpected, from alchemy to time travel to ghosts trapped in paintings and ice tunnels! It may not be my favourite novel in the series purely from an enjoyment perspective, but it is certainly unexpected and fascinating in terms of world-building. And this is finally where the series starts to pick
It's kinda like Harry Potter mixed with the Lord of the Rings meets like the Time Warp Trio or something. I've really gotten into them, but they're long. The fourth one, Queste is almost 600 pages and the rest are like 500 some. They usually take me a month to read unless it's the weekend and I have nothing else to do, then it takes like three days. My mom, brother and I all are reading them right now.
Entertaining, exciting, and a humdinger of a cliffhanger at the conclusion! "Are you okay? Have you looked in to the Glass yet?"Jenna's voice came from the cupboard. "Umyes. I'm looking now.... ""What can you see? ""Nothing....nothing.... it's just dark.... oh, wait.... I can see something now... itit's weird... an old man... staring at me. He looks kind of surprised.""An old man?" asked Jenna. "Oh, that's odd.... ""What?" Jenna could bear it no longer. She hurtled down the steps and arrived in
I'm a big fan of this series! Ghosts, witches, dragons, spells, secret cupboards and tunnels, boggarts, sailing ships, queens, wizards, herbs and magic rings...everything you could possibly imagine in a magical castle realm. Mix that with Shakespearean-style mischief: comedy-of-errors (very human errors!) and mistaken identity. And, on top of all that, the characters are lovably ordinary; the children make friends in a natural, uncalculated way, and the adults are so...imperfect. Lots of fun!
This series has been intriguing. I enjoyed this volume slightly less than the first two, but I definitely want to keep reading the series.
