I enjoyed this one, though the wording issues from the first one existed in this one: "taught stomach", "get the led out"... but for the most part, the editing was decent. Parts were repetitive, though. And what, exactly, does a tiny pussy look like? My mind's eye pictures this normal-sized woman with this little, itty bitty vaginal area. I'm pretty sure that's not the appropriate visual, but it was there several times, and that's what stuck in my brain. ~shrugs~ The story line of this one wasOH how I LOVE the Hart family. They are all so loving and can't even see it. I loved the little twist in the end with Dominique, I did not see that one coming. DANTE AND DAMIEN are so freakin' fine but at the same time so loving and compassionate. I would love to go to their Sunday Family Dinners and be apart of their family unit. I love this series!!! I can't wait for the next because let's face it with that ending I know there will be, I just hope it is soon!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this series!!!
At a point I was like: OK.GOING TO F*$K OR WHAT? This book is a complete tease. Actually, I thought that the main male character was such a girl sometimes *frustrated*. He is always, and I mean ALWAYS, pulling at the last minute from doing you know what. It's like HE is the girl. He had EVERYTHING to be a freaking bad-boy-alpha-male-god, BUT he isn't. I loved the girl. She is the kind of female character that I appreciate in a book (completely NOT an idiot, indecisive little girl that annoys the
DNF at Page 110.Ugh, I tried, but I've more than reached my limit now. Where to start? I already wasn't all that happy with the first book but thanks to not being able to leave a book of a series on my reader, I still started the second book. I'm not sure where all the high ratings come from, as I disagree to 100%. It's a case of: "Did we read the same book?"Let's start with the dual POVs: Damien and Brooke tell the story in mostly alternating chapters, which would be quite alright if one POV
Shattered Hart is the second book on the Hart series. This one is about Damien and Brooke and even though it was entwined with all the events that happen in the first book, even with all the same characters it felt complete different. Brooke its Sabrina's little sister, she is a 22 year old virgin, but she is very mature and I liked her personality, she would handle things much better than poor Damien, who I felt was loosing his mind in most of the book. Damien is twenty five and he has been in
Ella Fox has a writing style that unfortunately gets on my nerves. Add to that, this book had annoying characters, and I struggled to get to the end. The main characters were both far too immature, and their rambling inner monologue drove me batty. How can I make him want me, over and over from her, and his insistence that he wasn't good enough from him. That was really all I seemed to get from the whole story. The sexual tension was high, and if I could have just cared for either mc I could of
I was excited to contiune the series after Broken Hart but as I started to read I quickly realized that it was just a repeat of the first book arrghhh! It was from Damien and Brook's point of view but I already knew what happened and their side of it didn't shed any new light on it. I found myself skimming through the book sadly. Then finally it started to be all of Damien and Brooks story whew. Damien was more hard nosed than Dante when it came to following his heart. Once things broke loose
