This is a beautiful fantasy trilogy, that you forget in parts is fantasy. The author captures so much of the mind of an autistic person that has a fellow autistic person, I forget I'm reading a fantasy books. Fisher is clever and adept at dealing with the world and his adventures are epic. The base of the stories: be nice, you never know how hurtful your words an be. Fisher is a true superhero who could choose the dark route but instead is so filled with love thanks to a wonderful amazingFisher's Autism Trilogy gave me great insight into the mind of a person living with Autism. I am a Special Education teacher who has worked with many children on the spectrum. This book helped me to understand what goes on in the minds of my students. I would suggest this book for anyone who works with students with Autism or people who just want a better understanding of the disorder.
