Description To Books L'Empire des anges (Cycle des Anges #2)

I randomly picked that book up from the sale section in my local supermarket and simply got hooked. It made me believe in a whole entire after-life world and got me intrigued. It was my first Bernard Werber's novel and cetrainly not my last. My favorite French author by a mile.Just loved the entire "angel" and "gods" series.

enjoyed reading this book a lot

Oh no! Yeap, it was my though during reading. 'Les Thanatonautes' was much better. This one is not so realistic and a bit boring. Of course there are some nice quotations but the plot remind me soap opera. Also I found some differences in facts with 'Les Thanatonautes' athey are a dilogie. Bernard Werber has the last chance to become more interesting for me. This one is called Le miroir de Cassandre

I was really a fan of this book during teenage years. Re-reading it completely ruined expirience for me. Fictional world is built on rules that author breaks just for the sake of "keeping friends together". Speaking of "angel beings" author sticks to human perception of the world, what looks primitive and far-fetched. Traveling sequences are boring and skipable. And especially stupid are battle mechanics in angel world - it's just silly.I think it's better to stay away from those series unless

The first Bernard Werber book I've ever read. And to me it was the best.I love the idea, the concept developped here. Even though it's the second one of the pentalogy, I don't think the first one (Les Thanatonautes) is mandatory, because the "continent des morts" is described here anyway. From the adventure of the angel, to the three souls that you really start liking becaus eof their own quirks, to the Encyclopedia inclusion, everything was good. I read it in high school and loved it! I don't

While reading this book you autimatically start believing in his idea of the world organization and in parallel worlds existence. Nice, very nice. A real godsend for those who love fantasy books! Enjoy guys :)

One of the best things of this author I've read
