The Hunted is Charlie Higson's sixth terrifying installment in the thrilling The Enemy series. The sickness struck everyone over fourteen. First it twisted their minds. Next it ravaged their bodies. Now they roam the streets - Crazed and hungry The others had promised that the countryside would be safer than the city. They were wrong. But getting out of town's never been more dangerous- because coming in the other direction is every SICKO in the country. Book 6 takes a slightly different approach by way of variety, mostly following just one of the familiar cast of characters. The end sets the scene for the final book in the series, which I am eager to read (but at the same time I know it is the last one and don't want it to end!).

honestly at this point in a series it's hard to review books because, pretty much everything happening is a spoiler. EVERYTHING. You can read this old review of mine that sort of sums the series upBut to sum up: this is a series following a whole bunch of different kids living in the zombie apocalypse and it's so good. It's set in London and has kind of a non-linear time line and so each book sort of interconnects like a puzzle and it's so interesting. I've been trying to finish this series for

This is the happiest book of the entire series not even joking.Even the ending was happy.Almost.But not completely, because you just have to do this to us, don't you Charlie. I bet The End won't even have a proper ending, it'll just stop. London will be saved, but then you'll casually mention the rest of the world and fuck know what we'll do because that'll be the last one. You'd introduce a new character who lives in Australia or something and then the whole thing will start again.Fuck.

Personal ResponseI think the author did an outstanding job of adding in unexpected moments. He added in a lot of tense moments, which kept us on our toes. Lastly, he added a lot of emotional moments in this b0okPlotFirst, Ella wakes up and finds her friends dead. She tries to run, but is captured by sickos. Malik saves her and brings her to his hideout. Next, a bunch of kids running from grown ups arrive at there hideout, and a huge battle ensues during that battle most of the kids are killed.

Nooooo!!!! Huge cliffhanger and last book not available yet. Higson is destroying my nerves! He creates fantastic characters and pushes adrenaline and anticipation to the edge. Can't wait to see how this series will end, but guess I will have to...

you don't even know where she's gone, do you? 'i'll find her.' you'll probably find her body... its sicko central out there. i can't say this enough i cannot get enough of this book series i feel saddened every time i finish a book from this series now i have just finished the 6th book and it's sad to realize that the 7th book will be the last. I was happy to see the Ella character get more of a bigger role in this book and i get to see more of an insight into the character who really hasn't

Oh my, the end is near. Aaaaaaah.
