I know the next one isn't out until next year, but I just couldn't help myself! 😂Full of action, battles, magic, secrets, murder, family, teenaged crushes and friendship!I really enjoyed Catalina's first book in the trilogy, and she sure had big boots to fill after her sister Nevada's trilogy! It was thrilling and I read it very quickly!The only thing that bothered me was the way the author's dealt with the hand over from Nevada to Catalina. I honestly don't know why I can't rave about this series like everyone else, but it is a really solid romantic urban fantasy.AND I actually like Catalina more than her sister, Nevada. 4.5 stars7/9/19This was a delightful addition to the Baylor universe but it wasn't as perfect for me as the first three instalments.I think the problem here is the transitioning from Nevada to Catalina. Nevada was badass and exceptionally strong in the first three books whereas Catalina avoided all confrontations because of her power. She is a definite badass in the making though.
