Ok,So overall I did enjoy this book. It has a fair amount of mystery and of course a love story. My favorite character was Aggie and I wish we had more of her story. It was slow in spots and some storylines did not get tied up well but I enjoyed the story as a whole. Thank you to netgalley for the ARC.

Loved it!The story was kind of fast paced and kept you turning the pages to see what happened next.I wish there was some more to the ending but maybe that's because I didn't want it to be over.I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and gave an honest review.

A Valentine's Day treat, I really enjoyed getting to know both Ava and Bronson. The plot is exciting and well written and the characters are fantastic. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.

Ava is a young woman trying to find her place in the world. She finds anew job reading for Aggie which pays extremely well and gives her time to do her writing. Aggie is an old woman who is very crass, speaks her mind, and keeps her secrets very close to her heart. Ava was dating Justin, an egotistical, self centered jerk who does not treat her well. 5 amazing stars!Im happy I went into the story blind, I normally read a few reviews before I read a book but Im glad I didnt this time. I was expecting a fluffy cheesy read but this book is neither. It has depth and it touches your soul. This a story about Ava who works for a funny foul mouth woman full of mysteries and secrets and a newly released from prison Bronson, Bronson is on a revenge rampage and unfortunately for the voluptuous Ava: shes on his revenge list. I really needed a pick me up

Take My Heart by J. J. Sorel is the story of Ava and Bronson. Bronson was serving a jail time for something he didn't do but he knows his 'brother' is the true person that set this up. So when he gets out he wants to find his real family and get revenge on his brother. Some of that revenge is the girl that is in his brother's life, Ava. But what starts out as a plan with her as the pawn starts to be the most important person to him. Enjoyed their story.
