This book is one of my favorites throughout the series because not only does Emily return to her "true self", it also recaps on everything she has ever done for the heku species. I enjoyed the suspense when she mysteriously gets injured in her sleep, the serious parts of the book were worth reading and helped progress the story along, but I still enjoyed some of the lighter moments, like when she finally bonds with her new daughter Megara. Something I really like about the whole series in

This book gave a better view of heku. Loved it.

The pace was a lot slower than the previous. Emily was not in the forefront as much.

I read the whole series and although the series had the potential to be good. The author really needs to get an editor. The main character Emily is to stupid to live and the books are way to long.

Eh, I think these books are getting too long. I thought this book would have been a nice ending to the series but one more.
