Judge Out Of Books Larung (Saman #2)

If you done reading Saman, you must not stop. You have to grab this book and read it. It was about running, hiding, surviving, or not surviving. It still gave a strange mixture that is common in this country. Common not because it's normal, but common because it happened a lot.

Only one word to express my feeling about this book, yawn.Melenceng dari plot yang ditawarkan sebelumnya dan stuck.

The main reason I read this book was because I wanted to know what would happen to Leila and his married guy :DThe character Saman was too heavy for my daily lives, so I prefer someone as easy to predict like Leila, and not Jasmine, Shakuntala and I forgot who's the other one.I prefer her essays.

I was quite disappointed after reading this. For me, Saman is much more enjoyable than Larung.

Why Larung and Saman have to die... :(

Contrary with public opinion, even with the author it self, I'd prefer Larung as the best narration compared with Saman. The title it self caught my eye, the unended coffin!Larung using, what I called Darkness Literary about the darkside of Indonesia: 1965's killing field. The narration about the dead of Larung's grandmother is really really throw me into the bitter experienced of Indonesian in that decade.

the sekuel of Saman ( or the opposite ) is very interesting too, reveal personality of young, smart and brave man. touch the forbidden issue, political and sex life. very interesting, as always Ayu Utami is superfly !!
